Freedom in Art 2018 2018-07-25T03:49:57+00:00

We are calling upon all aspiring artists, to help support the organisations which have dedicated their lives to helping those trapped in the world of Human Trafficking, and in turn, we are aiding in bringing freedom to all artists who wish to showcase their talent and who might not have had the opportunity to be discovered.

We are excited to announce the main beneficiary for FIA2018 is TASC – Training Against Slavery Collaboration 2018/102071/08

TASC believes that in order for you to fight human trafficking, you must know everything there is to know about the heinous crime. The civil servants of our country (Police, Medics, and Educators) NEED to know the signs of a trafficking situation and how to intervene. If knowledge is power, lets educate!

With the aim to train and employ Trainers across South Africa, to ensure that each Police station, Trauma unit and school has 1-3 qualified Anti-Human Trafficking Specialists, TASC strives to fight crime through education.

Join us in this collaboration of Anti-Human Trafficking Organizations, Artists and Art Enthusiasts, as we gear up for our second year of fighting modern day slavery, with art.

Come and meet the teams from TASC, STOP – Stop Trafficking of People and S-Cape Safe House and find out how YOU can make a difference.

A number of local high schools have been chosen and invited to participate in the Freedom In Art Competition 2018. With great prizes up for grabs, and the incredible opportunity to showcase their talent at this years iconic venue, we are excited to see how the next generation portray Freedom through art.

All schools are invited to register for an anti human trafficking awareness session and to view the competing artworks at the castle. Get your students educated by the front-line organizations, lets stand together and fight for freedom, while protecting our youth from exploitation.

We at NESEM Global, alongside TASC – Training Against Slavery Collaboration, are excited to announce the details of the upcoming Freedom In Art Competition, Auction & Exhibition Event.

Hosted at the Iconic Castle Of Good Hope, first built in 1666, and known as the oldest existing colonial building in South Africa. We invite you to join us and meet representatives of the incredible Organizations which we work with and which will benefit from this charity event. Hear stories of trafficked survivors, and get to know what we are doing and why.

Be at the Castle on Saturday 29th September from 10am, for a family fun day like no other. Enjoy a day of good food, good shopping, and great entertainment! If you are a Market Vendor and would like to be a part of this auspicious occasion, email nicky@nesemglobal.com for details.

Join us for a day of celebrating Art, Freedom, and the FREEDOM IN ART.

As we have students entering the competition, this is a Family Friendly Event, HOWEVER, we do ask that parents respect the art by not bringing little ones which could knock over anything 🙂
